Back To School Night
MIT Academy's Back-to-School Night is Thursday, September 16.
Back-to-School Night uses a "bell schedule" format whereby parents travel from class to class following their child's schedule. In addition, there will be ongoing demonstrations of the Power School parent portal throughout the evening, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the MPR (Cafeteria). See you there!
Meet our New Before/After School Coordinator, Michael Gomez!
Hello, my name is Michael R. Gomez and I am the new After School Program Coordinator (ASP) here at MIT Academy. I am excited to be here and hopefully will be able to bring new energy, excitement, and structure to the ASP. With over 4 years experience in counseling students and 7 years of experience in coordinating after school programs in southern & northern California I plan on bringing a strongly structured academic and enrichment based program here to MIT Academy.
Having your student(s) safe, supervised, productive, and having fun after school is our goal! There is a lot of potential here to have an awesome ASP that supports the school day and that gives your students an opportunity to be engaged, productive, and have fun whether in sports, arts & (crafts), music, games, community service, and many other activities throughout the year. I am glad to be here at MIT Academy and working with your student(s) and look forward to meeting you. The staff and I welcome new ideas and your support of the program as it continues to grow and evolve!
