Everest Barnraising

Parents and Community Members:

Come join us to inaugurate the new MIT Everest Complex on Saturday, July 14th, from 8 - 4, as we clean, trim, paint, and shine the facility to make it "MIT classroom" ready for the first day of school. Volunteers will be given up to 8 hours of Parent Commitment time and a hotdog lunch will be served. We particularly need volunteers with light carpentry, painting, and landscaping skills; please bring tools, gloves, and enthusiasm!

The Everest Center, located at 525 Mini Drive, is the newest addition to the MIT campus and is located directly across from the baseball field on Positive Place. For more information see the July newsletter or contact Miriam Ascencio at Ext. 115, or Toni Feller at Ext. 100.
