Parent Workshop: "Setting Limits with Teens"

Setting Limits with Teens
MIT Parent Workshops
January 6, 13, 20, 2015

Tired of arguing, coercing, or browbeating your teenager to get them to do homework, obey curfews, or take out the garbage? Dr. Robert MacKenzie, renowned psychologist and author of Setting Limits with Your Strong-Willed Child, will be presenting a 3-evening workshop series at MIT Academy on January 6, 13, and 20th. Dr. MacKenzie has presented around the country as well as internationally and is known for his lively and humorous approach as he shares a framework for using “logical consequences” with your child, which includes practical tips and easy-to-master skills that can be used immediately. Forget the power struggles, negotiating, and badgering, and discover tried-and-true techniques for getting cooperation and responsibility from your teen.

Workshops will be from 6:30 – 8:30 at MIT Academy, and parent participants will receive 2 hours credit for each workshop attended (8 hours for attending all 3). Register in person or by phone at MIT Academy at 7070552-6482, ext. 100. Limited to 60 participants.
