A "Uniform" Approach!

At their March meeting, the MIT Board of Directors approved the Strategic Planning group's annual update, which included a directive to create and implement an official MIT dress code by August, 2013. The dress code, developed by the MIT VOORP committee in consultation with various parent and student groups, was chosen for cost, durability, and consistency with current dress code requirements. Dress code apparel and policies are shown and described on this page. Note also the following:

Parent Portal Assistance

For parents who would like help accessing their PowerSchool Parent Portal, our Network Administrator will be available to sit down with you for some one-on-one time Wednesdays after school, from 2:00-3:00.

If you have obtained your Parent Password letter from the Main Office, you can read the following document to assist you in creating your parent account:

Student Store Donations

The Seniors of 2013 need your help to get to Washington D.C. Our student store on campus is in need of supplies. Please see the attached document for our list of needs.

2012 8th Grade Promotion

The 8th-Grade promotion ceremony is Wednesday, June 6th, from 4:00-5:30pm. Students should arrive no later than 3:15 dressed in formal clothes, such as was worn for the portfolio presentations (professional business attire). Students should report to the MPR. Parking will be available in the inner parking lot, on Positive Place, and along Rainer Avenue (behind the school). We have a record number of promoting students so expect parking to fill up early.
